FAQ

A trailer spindle is a crucial part of a trailer’s axle assembly. It connects the wheel hub, bearings, and wheel to the axle and acts as the rotating shaft around which the hub spins. A properly functioning spindle is essential for safe wheel rotation. If a spindle becomes worn, bent, or damaged, it can lead to serious issues such as bearing failure, uneven tire wear, wheel wobble, or even wheel detachment.

Replacing a trailer spindle involves cutting off the damaged spindle at the junction between the spindle weld and brake flange (refer to included installation instructions for precise measurements). The new spindle is then inserted into the axle tube, aligned properly, and welded in place using an alignment tool and a qualified welder.

With the right tools and experience, replacing a trailer spindle can take as little as one hour, provided the replacement part is readily available.

Reusing old wheel end components is not recommended, as they may be worn or damaged and could have contributed to the failure of the original spindle.

We offer a 30 day limited warranty on all trailer spindles. Note that returns are generally not accepted for installed or opened items. For more information, please view our return and exchange policy.
